Report a pothole

Use the online form to report a pothole so crews can inspect and repair it.

Include:

  • the location
  • pothole size, shape and depth
  • a photo, if possible

Use the online form to report non-urgent maintenance issues on city streets, trails, bike lanes or sidewalks, including:

  • uneven sidewalks
  • trail damage
  • blocked or damaged paths

Report an issue with a road sign

The City of Waterloo repairs or replaces missing and damaged road signs on city roads.  

Some possible issues include:

  • missing signs
  • blocked sign views
  • signs and poles that are bent, damaged, leaning, loose or broken

Report missing traffic control signs, such as stop signs and yield signs, immediately.

The Region of Waterloo maintains road signs on regional roads and any connecting intersections.
