If you need to cool down or warm up during extreme weather, city facilities are open to the public during regular hours.
You can also find regional cooling and warming spaces throughout the Region.

Check when city buildings are open
Visit these city facilities during regular hours:
- Waterloo City Hall (City Centre) – Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex – daily 6 a.m. to midnight
- Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex – daily 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Albert McCormick Community Centre – daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hours change on holidays. Check our closures and cancellations page for holiday hours.

- Moses Springer outdoor pool (paid admission) is open daily in summer. Check the swimming schedule for hours.

Splash pads are usually open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., from May 31 to Labour Day weekend in September.
