Choose a flowerbed package

The size of your flowerbed is based on section 6.C of the Cemetery By-law, meaning the size will reflect the monument base's length, multiplied by 15” from the base.

Includes  

  • preparation of bed with triple mix  

  • regular weeding and watering throughout the season

  • removal of plant material after Labour Day
  • planting of flowers -selection is based on what's available

  • Planting of flowers
  • Upon purchase of the essentials package, you are responsible for purchasing and planting your own flowers

Maintenance details

We follow specific guidelines to keep the cemetery grounds looking their best:

  • planting, maintenance and watering begins around the first week of June
  • city staff pick the colors and types of flowers based on what's available locally at the start of summer
  • plant material is removed after Labour Day

Pay for your flowerbed

Once we receive your order form, you can pay using the following methods below. If we have not received payment by the April 15 deadline, your order will be cancelled. 

Pay by phone
After you fill out the form, call the cemetery office at 519-725-9280 to pay by Visa or Mastercard. 
Pay by cheque

After you fill out the form, mail a cheque payable to "City of Waterloo".
