Request support for your community event
Waterloo Fire Rescue and the Waterloo Professional Fire Fighters Association (WPFFA) proudly support community and charity events in Waterloo.
If your organization is hosting a fundraiser, community event or awareness campaign, you can request volunteer support from our team.

What kind of support we offer
Our off-duty firefighters and staff volunteer their time to help local charities and community events.
You can request support for:
- attending and representing Waterloo Fire Rescue at your event
- speaking to a crowd or presenting awards
- helping with donation drives
- handing out information or greeting attendees
All events must take place within the City of Waterloo.

Request support
Complete the charity event form and include:
- charity or organization name
- event name, date, and location
- contact person, phone number and email
- details about the type of event and how you want Fire Rescue staff to participate
Requests must be made at least 30 business days before your event.
We’ll do our best to attend, but availability depends on volunteer schedules. A member of Waterloo Fire Rescue will contact you once your request has been reviewed.
