We offer fire station tours and fire truck visits for schools, families, seniors and community groups.

Fire education programs
We offer free public education sessions within the City of Waterloo. Choose the program that best fits your group.
Fire station tours
Visit one of our 4 fire stations for a guided tour and safety overview:
- fire crews remain on duty and may be called away at any time
- participants must be at least 4 years old (junior kindergarten)
- tours are limited to 26 people and last up to 1 hour
Fire truck visits
Invite a fire truck to your school or event for an outdoor demonstration:
- fire trucks must park on a surface that supports their weight – confirmed by the attending captain
- up to 26 people can view the truck at one time – larger groups must rotate
- each session lasts 15 to 20 minutes – multiple groups can be scheduled back to back

- phone number and email address
- event type and preferred time slot
- number of participants (maximum 26)
- age of participants (must be at least 4 years old)
We’ll do our best to schedule your visit, but availability depends on crew schedules and emergency calls.
