Albert McCormick Community Centre (AMCC) is located at 500 Parkside Drive. It is currently open for pre-booked ice activities and facility rentals only.

Registered programs

Check our Active Waterloo website to register and pay for programs that take place at AMCC, including camps and other courses.


Most spaces in Moses Springer are available for rent. To get started, visit our rentals page.

Closures and cancellations

Check our cancellation page to ensure your program is running as scheduled.


There are twin ice pads (East and West) and nine dressing rooms, with 300 spectator seats in the East pad and 399 spectator seats in the West. The community centre offers two rooms available for rent.

Albert McCormick Central Plaza

The central plaza is located outside the front of Albert McCormick Community Centre. The plaza includes:

  • skatepark
  • splash court
  • accessible basketball court
  • climbing structure
  • gathering/seating areas

The splash court opens on June 4 and stays open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A branch of the Waterloo Public Library is attached to the community centre.
