Albert McCormick Community Centre (AMCC) at 500 Parkside Drive is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The customer service desk opens at 1 p.m.

Youth drop-in program
Pick Your Play is a program for children ages 8 to 12 that offers fun drop-in activities including basketball, pickleball and soccer at the Albert McCormick Community Centre:
- Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m., May 7 to June 25
- register online or in person

Registered programs

Amenities
There are twin ice pads (East and West) and nine dressing rooms, with 300 spectator seats in the East pad and 399 spectator seats in the West. The community centre offers two rooms available for rent.
Albert McCormick Central Plaza
The central plaza is located outside the front of Albert McCormick Community Centre. The plaza includes:
- skatepark
- splash pad
- accessible basketball court
- climbing structure
- gathering/seating areas
The splash pad opens for the season on June 1, 2023 and stays open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A branch of the Waterloo Public Library is attached to the community centre.
