City-wide snow clearing of all sidewalks is not being considered at this time.

Summary of charges from March 17 unsanctioned street gatheringThe City of Waterloo issued 18 provincial offences notices related to noise and another 12 for nuisances as a result of an unsanctioned street gathering on March 17.
In addition, members of the city's Municipal Enforcement Services division issued:
41 lot maintenance orders23 lot maintenance clean ups, and916 parking tickets.
Council approves affordable housing strategy and confirms housing pledgeCouncil has approved its first affordable housing strategy (AHS) which outlines a blueprint of actions that the city will take to improve housing choices for Waterloo residents and those moving to the community.
Today's approval allows the city to immediately move ahead with 59 actions, including creating more opportunities to enable the construction of missing middle housing; making it easier to build second units by eliminating parking requirements for second units near ION stops; and enhancing Waterloo's Rental Housing Support webpage to provide more supports for landlords and tenants.
Overnight parking ban in parts of Waterloo this Friday and Saturday nightThere will be no overnight on-street parking permitted in the MacGregor Albert, Northdale or uptown neighbourhoods in the City of Waterloo on Friday or Saturday night.
Overnight on-street parking exemptions will not be allowed in the area bordered by Westmount Road, Columbia Street, Weber Street and Erb Street in Waterloo overnight from Friday to Saturday (March 17 to 18) and Saturday to Sunday (March 18 to 19).
