Volunteering

Volunteers have a long history of supporting heritage activities at the City of Waterloo Museum. Recruitment and administration of the volunteer program is coordinated through the City of Waterloo.

Our volunteers provide a friendly and welcoming environment for all visitors and members of the community.

Positions include:
Greeter: Provides a warm welcome and general information to visitors at our museum location in Conestoga Mall.
Program: Assists at events both at the museum and in the community.
Activities may include:

• Providing information about activities.
• Assisting with crafts and handing out supplies.
• Welcoming and orienting visitors.

Time commitment varies from occasional event to a regular weekly shift, depending on your interest and availability.
