The City of Waterloo and Twin City Hockey Skating School offer two-week pre-season power skating clinics at RIM Park.

The program is conducted during the pre-season so the players can get prepared early and improve their skating skills for the upcoming season. 

Pre-Season Power Skating Clinics

Is a 2-Week Program - registration for 2019 will open in February 2018

Note: kids must be the minimum age listed below by Aug. 1, 2018 to participate.

Pre-Skate Dryland Information

Includes a thorough dynamic warm-up with progressive movement meant to warm-up and stimulate the nervous system to prepare the skater for the on ice portion of the session.

**All dryland classes take place inside the Carolyn Fedy Athletic Centre at RIM Park. Running shoes are required.

Equipment information

Full hockey/ringette equipment must be worn. Each skater must wear a CSA-approved helmet, mask and neck protector. Bring your hockey or ringette stick.
