City of Waterloo recreation in Red-Control zoneWith Waterloo Region moving into the Red-Control zone of the provincial response framework, the City of Waterloo will gradually re-start recreation programs, services and amenities according to the zone guidelines and protocols.
Limited recreation programming will begin on Thursday, February 18, with the staggered opening of programs, facilities and services over the following 7 to 10 days.

Senior of the year nominations now openYou know them: caring, involved seniors who have spent their year going out of their way to help others. They have given their time and energy to make a difference in our community, in spite of the challenges we're all going through.
Virtual Ride-a-Bus event in WaterlooThe Waterloo Age Friendly Committee has partnered with Grand River Transit (GRT) to offer virtual Ride-a-Bus training and orientation to older adults in the community. While everyone should continue to observe the stay-at-home order issued by the province, these virtual Zoom sessions on how to use the bus and ION system provide practical information for the future.
