Proof of vaccination requirement changesWith the province introducing measures to strengthen the proof of vaccination requirements in Ontario, the City of Waterloo wants to make customers and residents aware of upcoming changes to the proof of vaccination procedure for those entering our recreation facilities.
Effective December 20, 2021, proof of vaccination and valid government ID will now also be required for youth aged 12 to 17 years to enter recreation facilities for their sport, per Ontario Regulation 364/20.
