Waterloo seeks feedback to improve the Laurel Greenway, including Willis Way and the public square The City of Waterloo is working with consultants, SHIFT Landscape Architecture, to identify opportunities to improve the Laurel Greenway experience, and both teams encourage the community to share their thoughts and ideas.
The Laurel Greenway is a linear park space and trail that weaves through uptown Waterloo, running from Weber Street in the east into Waterloo Park in the west.

City servicing three more trails for winter useIn recognition of reduced recreational opportunities due to COVID-19 this winter, the city is increasing services levels in an effort to provide three additional walking/hiking opportunities.
Residents can use the trails and roadway networks at Mount Hope Cemetery, Parkview Cemetery, and Clair Creek Trail (located between Sundew Drive and Columbia Forest Blvd at Erbsville Rd).
