Pilot project relocates Waterloo Park geese to migratory bird sanctuaryThis morning, City of Waterloo staff worked with a professional wildlife relocation team to round up a flock of Canada geese in Waterloo Park for transfer to a bird sanctuary a few hours away.
Through this pilot relocation program, the geese were brought to the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary, where they were released.
